18 Groups Thru Open House in 2 Weeks!

This is a crazy number of people through just 2 open houses at 2001 Sunset Ridge in Glenview.  Typically, most agents are happy with 3-4 per open.  Another agent in my office with an open house in the same neighborhood was asking how many came through my first open house.  I had 11, she had 2.  Why?  I think for a few reasons.  One, I walked the neighborhood, inviting 50 neighbors to come on over to take a look.  Two, we hired an interior designer to wow buyers for a very reasonable price with high attraction returns.  I think this suggestion to the seller is paying off.

In this picture alone, of the entranceway & sitting room, Christin Eggener with Cmariedesigns Inc. www.cmariedesigns.com created 2 intimate spaces out of 1 massive 2 story foyer.  She re-painted & re-assigned the space – taking down most of the wall art, changing it from yellow to gray & creating a sitting area that you walk into instead of walking into a long dining room table.  She also did a fantastic new rendering of a blown out kitchen.

I’m also seeing buyers out looking for 1 floor living – and this is a 4 bedroom ranch.  Half the groups through are young families attracted to the spaciousness, yard & neighborhood, but the other half is wanting everything on 1 floor.
